BOO!

I can’t think of a city more closely tied to supernatural phenomena than New Orleans, Louisiana. The Home Strange Home crew recently shot at a home in the city’s Uptown section that’s called House of Boo. Owned by artist/designer Cree McCree and her husband, artist/musician Donald Miller, the home’s front porch was decked out for Halloween, complete with a two-headed vampire baby.

With such spooky decorations, you’d think that would explain the name of the house. However, as Cree and Donald told us, that wasn’t the case. The name actually comes from creatures that prowl within this home. What are they? Why are there altars – some voodoo-inspired – in the house? And what’s up with the photos of skull-faced kids on the walls? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
